Large apartment community seeking highly motivated leasing consultant to join our team. Candidate must be able to multitask. Have great organizational, sales, and computer skills. Ability to speak Spanish fluently is a plus.
Leasing Consultant Job:
Responding to potential applicant interest for rental properties in-person and via digital platforms.
Showing apartments, answering questions, and finalizing terms of leases.
Preparing potential resident background checks; including rental history, income verification, and lease application.
Evaluate information provided by applicants to ensure whether they fall under the guidelines for renting apartments.
Establishing resident expectations for security deposits, procedures for rent, and amenities that will be part of the lease.
Properly executing all terms of a lease and consistently implement policies of the community.
Preparing work order requests for maintenance technicians.
Resolve resident complaints and maintain accurate records of action taken.
Maintain and organize current resident files.
Assist management team with other various tasks, as required.
Light cleaning of model units.
Qualifications:
Highly proficient in Microsoft office
Excellent correspondence skills
Can operate mutli-line phones
Good organizational skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work weekends
Fluent in Spanish, is a plus
