Fabricator- industrial equipment restoration
The Electric Barn of North Hampton is an electrical supply distributor that specializes in hard to find/obsolete industrial electrical components. The Electric Barn is seeking Fabricator to assist in the restoration and repair process of industrial electrical equipment.
General Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for new paint by sanding, sand blasting, cleaning, and taping.
Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and machinery
Mix & apply appropriate types & colors of paints
Inspect completed paint jobs for quality
Bend, cut, shape, and drill sheet metal using hand and power tools.
Maintain proper PPE requirements.
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Skills:
OSHA 10 Safety Certification is required for this position. Applicants who have previously completed training will be given priority. Training can be arranged for those who have not.
Proven work experience as a painter, sheet metal tech, and/or autobody technician, or any other experience in restoration/reconditioning position.
Knowledge of different paint types
Knowledge in various painting and sanding techniques
Experience using hand and power tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
