Our company is currently seeking to hire a Laborer / Carpenters Apprentice for a full time position working on various new construction and remodeling projects.
Applicants must have the following attributes for the position;
> Availability - Applicant must be able to work Monday through Friday between 7:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. consistently. Exceptions are made for emergencies, pre-scheduled time off, etc. This will be discussed in detail during interview.
> 4-5 years experience working in carpentry or similar trades is preferred - Should have a basic grasp on framing, siding, trim, windows/doors and general on site practices including tool use, working with others, cleanup and basic safety knowledge.
> Basic hand and power tools (drill and saw).
> Insured Vehicle, in good working order and able to carry your basic tools. Must be willing to travel up to an hour to work each day from business HQ in Alton, N.H.
> Professional Demeanor - We perform all types of construction, including many projects that take place in customers homes; This requires all of our subs to be extremely professional and always be aware of their surroundings while working in these types of environments. Hired workers must SHOW UP PROMPTLY, work well with others, complete their tasks efficiently and be well organized.
> A cell phone in good working order, that will receive calls or texts during work days & weekends
> Basic computer knowledge and use of Word.
Please note: We have a strict no drug use policy for all hired employees and enforce this on a regular basis.
Company is located in Alton, NH. Work is located within a 1 hour (60 mile) radius.
