Sheet Metal Mechanic Responsibilities:
Fabricate, install, and repair ductwork systems for commercial HVAC projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and building codes
Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal using hand tools and fabrication equipment
Install and secure ducts, fittings, and dampers, ensuring proper sealing and insulation
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Sheet Metal Mechanic Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Commercial Tin Knocker with a focus on ductwork installation and fabrication
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications related to ductwork
Experience fabricating and installing a variety of ductwork components, including rectangular, round, and spiral ducts
