Vacancy expired!
Tight Knot specializes in designing and building custom homes in the NH Lakes Region, and we are looking for an experienced carpenter to join us as a site lead. We are a small team and take pride in doing high-quality work. We are looking for a thoughtful individual who wants to make a career out of building homes. We will train the right person on our standards and methods if construction.
Work is consistent. Full-time is preferred. As skills develop, we will increase compensation accordingly. Starting pay rate is negotiable, based on experience:
- $30 to $45 per hour for an experienced site lead, depending on skill level
- $25 to $30 per hour for an intermediate carpenter who is willing to train on site lead responsibilities
- $25 per hour for a 2-3 day trial period, prior to hiring
Our company is focused on craft and thoughtful design, rather than pumping out cookie-cutter homes. Our philosophy is to create good architecture that considers the human experience. We get there with a lot of physical and mental energy, fueled by energy drinks, and gas station coffee.
We compensate for long commutes to sites and offer some PTO benefits.
Give us a call and tell us what you're looking for in your career and we will see if we can work together.
