Join the Audience Engagement team at Nine Publishing, working with Australia’s most awarded newsrooms - The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, and The Australian Financial Review - trusted by over 12.8 million Australians for brave, balanced, and unmissable journalism. As the Engagement Marketing Lead, you will be critical in driving subscriber engagement and retention strategies for The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Brisbane Times and Good Food. You'll work closely with product and editorial teams to strategically onboard, educate, and drive habits with readers, reinforcing the value of a subscription throughout the audience lifecycle and , ultimately ensuring our audiences are deeply engaged with our award-winning content.This is a 12-month contract opportunity. Day to day you will:Lead and execute engagement initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Utilise data and insights to optimise the automated subscriber lifecycle program, including onboarding and engagement journeys.Manage lifecycle activity across all channels, including EDM, paid media, and internal network assets.Ensure the CRM platform is leveraged to its full potential for sophisticated customer journeys and one-to-one communications.Work closely with editorial teams to amplify key content, such as newsletters and podcasts, to subscribers.Collaborate with internal and external partners to create unique subscriber experiences that build brand advocacy.Manage and mentor a team of two direct reports.
