We recycle more than 234,000 tons of plastic, paper and metals from the waste stream.The Senior Cash Applications Clerk is responsible for processing all customer payment transactions received through the lockbox and credit card terminals in a timely manner to ensure the accuracy of customer accounts and Accounts Receivable balances.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned and may vary by location.

Accurate and timely customer cash application while maintaining appropriate controls and following required policies.

Successfully handle the complexities of company lockbox, customer accounts, local cash accounts and prepaid accounts.

Work closely with Collection Team for all cash application exceptions and queries

Accountable for timely completion of cash application to meet month and quarter-end financial closes.

Prepares all lockbox and credit card entries and applicable adjustments to the subsidiary ledgers (AR).

Transfer payments/credits across accounts.

Provides excellent customer service both internally and externally and researches any misapplied payments.

Provides training where needed

Provides integration support i.e., testing and meeting coverage

Knowledge of the more complex process and procedures i.e., audit, OA movements, refunds etc.

Perform other duties as assigned.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

Function well independently and in a team environment

College Degree, or equivalent experience preferred
