This role will work closely with IT Infrastructure, Advanced Analytics and EndeavourX teams to ensure that cloud costs are optimised and that the company is getting the most value from its cloud investments.ResponsibilitiesPrepare cloud costs and usage to the business and technology stakeholdersMonitor cloud usage and use alerts to help keep technology teams informedWork with technology teams to implement cost-saving strategies and track cloud costsDrive governance processes across the cloud computing environmentSupport the current FinOps strategy for Endeavour's cloud computing environmentWork with stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirementsStay up-to-date on the latest FinOps practices and trends.There will be 'hands-on' platform / technical work as part of the role, hence this role would suit an Azure cloud engineer / Azure platform engineer / DevOps engineer who wants to grow their skills in the financial aspects of cloud operations as part of their career trajectory.
