With a growing pipeline of work across AECOM’s Building Engineering team, we are seeking an Electrical Engineer. This position is suited to an engineer with experience in building services design who is looking to further develop their technical capabilities while contributing to complex and high-profile projects across the aviation, sports, defence, data centre, health, government, and transport precinct sectors.You will work within a diverse, collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, delivering technical excellence and sustainable outcomes for our clients.This role is based in Sydney.How you’ll make a difference:Contribute to the design and documentation of building services electrical systems including lighting and controls, general and specialist power, main switchboards, distribution systems, earthing and lightning protection, and essential services systems.Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications and schedules in accordance with Australian Standards, NCC requirements and project objectives.Support the delivery of coordinated, multidisciplinary design solutions across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fire and structural teams.Participate in project planning, design reviews and quality assurance processes while contributing technical input during client and stakeholder meetings.Undertake site inspections and support construction-phase services across a variety of complex building projects.Contribute specialised technical advice across multiple sectors while continuing to develop your leadership, project delivery and mentoring capabilities within the broader team.
