You will join our Municipal Water/Wastewater Treatment GroupAs our new Municipal Wastewater Process Design Engineer your key tasks and responsibilities will be:  Plan and design portions of projects of greater complexity, following appropriate design, engineering codes, government and third-party standards using engineering principles in conjunction and in concert with design staff.  Analyze, develop and interpret reports, drawings, analytical data, and other data required for planning and design projects related to Wastewater Treatment.Review and determine regulatory requirements (local, State, Federal) that would be applicable to the assignment Prepare and at times present reports or analysis such as design calculations, field data results/conclusions and/or cost estimates. Presentation audiences may include internal team members and external clients. May communicate directly with external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, subcontractors, contractors, regulators, etc.). Support preparation of proposals and fee estimates.  Train and mentor early career employees.  Utilize an advanced understanding of engineering fundamentals and proficiency with relevant computer software packages and engineering and design techniques specific to Wastewater Treatment and hydraulic engineering  Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Work effectively in teams comprised of professionals with diverse skill sets, including engineers from other disciplines, scientists and subcontracted professionals.  Desire to promote Ramboll’s growth through a commitment to delivering high-quality work products to our clients.  Troubleshooting and proactive problem solving for field assignments in accordance with project control documents and field guidance documents.
