Team Leader - Service Delivery

CAPS Hauraki is looking for a capable and motivated Team Leader – Service Delivery to join our Leadership Team and lead a portfolio of community-based services supporting tamariki, rangatahi, adults and whānau.This is a significant leadership role with responsibility for both people and service performance. The Team Leader provides day-to-day leadership of the services within their portfolio and is accountable for ensuring they are delivered safely, effectively and in accordance with contractual, professional, legal and organisational requirements.We are looking for someone who wants to lead — someone who takes ownership, develops their people, understands how their services are performing and looks for opportunities to make things better.The Team Leader will:Lead, coach, mentor and support a team of professional service-delivery staff, building capability and creating clear expectations around performance and practice.Actively manage staff workload, productivity and performance, including recognising good performance and addressing performance concerns when required.Take responsibility for the quality and contractual performance of services within their portfolio, including achievement of KPIs, service volumes, outcomes, reporting requirements and practice standards.Monitor performance, identify emerging issues or risks early and take appropriate action to get things back on track.Provide practice leadership to support safe, consistent and high-quality service delivery and client record keeping.Actively identify opportunities for quality and service improvement and bring forward practical recommendations and solutions.Be an active member of the CAPS Leadership Team, contributing ideas, analysis and solutions rather than focusing solely on their own service area.Build and maintain effective local and, where appropriate, regional relationships with funders, agencies, professionals and community partners.Represent CAPS professionally and communicate the organisation's agreed views and positions when acting on its behalf.
