Field Service Engineer II

As an Advanced Field Service Engineer here at Honeywell Intelligrated, you will provide reliable on-site technical assistance to internal and external customers in the material handling industry. You will perform modifications, upgrades, and troubleshooting on existing equipment, as well as installation and commissioning of new equipment. You will work on Material Handling equipment such as Conveyors, Palletizers, and Robots, as well as service/program Allen Bradley PLCs using Rockwell Software. You will focus on accuracy, timely feedback, and customer satisfaction. You will drive timely identification, investigation, resolution, root cause analysis, and replication of technical issues. You will use your influence to expedite complicated cases. You will develop a broad understanding of customer needs and product offerings. You will drive the knowledge-sharing mindset, methodology, and tools. You will ensure proper documenting and recording of all activity and communication. You will perform all activities to company safety standards.You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you’ll work remotely with 100% travel throughout the NE states from ME down to VA and PA, and occasionally nationwide.In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and solutions to customers in the material handling industry. Your expertise in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, along with your customer-facing skills, will ensure the successful operation and performance of equipment, contributing to customer satisfaction and the overall success of the organization. Key Responsibilities

Facilitate issue identification, analysis, investigation, and resolution of technical issues

Provide informal technical training and build relationships with customers

Use Electrical and Mechanical skillset to test equipment using tools and software

Occasionally work alone but develop and share knowledge within a team

You Must Have

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements

Previous electrical or mechanical experience in a manufacturing or production environment

3+ years of experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting

Extensive customer-facing experience

Experience in the material handling industry (sorters, conveyors, palletizers)

Excellent interpersonal verbal & written communication skills

Strong continuous improvement mindset and leadership tendency

Experience with Salesforce.com, SharePoint, Concur, Kronos, Oracle

Strong focus on safety, specifically LOTOT and Job Hazard Analysis

Good administrative skills including accurate timekeeping, expense reporting, and service reports

Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Software programming experience

Fanuc and/or Yaskawa robotics experience
