We’re now looking for a Café Assistant for our growing Waikanae Village who shares our love for people and hospitality.You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth running of our café. From making great coffee to creating tasty cabinet food and light meals, you’ll help make our café a warm and welcoming place for residents, their families, and visitors. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Preparing, presenting, and serving food and drinks to a high standardProviding outstanding barista servicesAssisting with catering for village events and resident functionsHandling cash and reconciling daily takingsThis is a casual role, working on an 'as and when required basis'. The successful candidate will be available to work day shifts across the week and able to provide flexibility to meet service demands.You’ll work closely with the Chef Manager, Café Supervisor, and wider village team to deliver a café experience that’s welcoming, consistent, and genuinely enjoyable.
