Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of engineering operations, supporting the maintenance team and ensuring our hotels are maintained to the highest standards.Key responsibilities include:Supervising and supporting the Engineering team during your shiftCoordinating and carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance programsResponding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional mannerAssisting with contractor management and ensuring work is completed to required standardsMonitoring essential building services, plant equipment and safety systemsConducting routine testing of fire alarms, emergency lighting and compliance-related equipmentAssisting with energy efficiency and sustainability initiativesSupporting roster preparation and team development activitiesMaintaining accurate maintenance records and compliance documentationEnsuring all work is completed in accordance with Health & Safety requirements and Accor standardsProviding exceptional service when interacting with guests and internal stakeholdersThis role will require flexibility and participation in an on-call roster to support emergency maintenance requirements when needed.
