A Public Area Attendant is responsible for the overall cleanliness and maintenance of a hotel's common areas, ensuring a high standard of appearance and guest satisfaction. This role is crucial in creating a positive first impression and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment.Key Responsibilities: Clean and maintain all public spaces, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, public restrooms, restaurants, and event rooms. This involves sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to ensure all areas are spotless.Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, such as providing directions, retrieving lost items, or addressing cleanliness concerns.Assist the housekeeping team by providing support with tasks like collecting and distributing linen, removing rubbish, and restocking supplies for guest rooms.Participate in deep-cleaning projects and special assignments, such as cleaning carpets, polishing floors, or preparing spaces for events.Uphold and enforce all health, safety, and hygiene standards. This includes correctly handling cleaning chemicals, disposing of waste, and reporting any hazards or maintenance issues.This role operates on a rotating roster working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays,
