PRIMARY PURPOSE:As a Dining Area Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards to ensure the quality and cleanliness in required areas. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain the highest standards to ensure the quality and cleanliness in required areas
Keep assigned area maintained in accordance with established policies and procedures and stocked with china, glasses and condiments or food product
Keep equipment and furniture properly maintained, clean, and free of marks
Maintain cleanliness of diner tables, assists in removal of trays, wiping of tables and straightening of chairs
Sweep and vacuum flooring
Know how to dismantle clean and reassemble food service equipment
Report emergencies and maintenance needs to supervisor
Perform other job-related duties as requested
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Excellent knowledge of basic kitchen equipment
Able to read, translate and execute recipes
Knowledge of soup, sauce, meat, fish, poultry, casserole, and vegetable preparations
Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to to make sound decisions immediately without supervision
Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalent
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
PREFERRED:One (1) years of experience in a high-volume restaurant
Experience working in a similar resort setting
