The Market Manager will grow margin, revenue, share and volume with Retail and Builder accounts in their assigned market.Essential Functions:Contribute to sales team success by sharing market and competitive information
Develop relationships with existing and potential new trade customers
Negotiate and close profitable sales, prospecting and market development
Train trade partners on the merits of Whirlpool Corporation's products
Prepare and renew quotes for specific projects
Merchandise trade customer floors
Trade Association Leadership
Other duties as assigned
QualificationsBachelor’s Degree preferred
Analytical and negotiation skills
Communicator with impeccable interpersonal skills
Understanding of the contract distribution channel in the authorized contract distributor, single family, and multi-family segments
Track record of sales success
Self-starter with the ability to develop and drive sales strategy
Meet and exceed revenue, profit, and volume goals
Motivator/leader with the ability to work well within a team
Challenger mentality
Willingness to embrace and drive change
Knowledge of professional sales process and insights-driven selling
Knowledge of products and brands In-depth intelligence on competitors
