Our client is a long-standing and growing construction organization. They are looking for a Payroll Administrator who can work independently as well as help lead and work within a growing team.
SALARY/HOURLY RATE:
$23/hr - $25/hr
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Payroll Administrator's responsibilities include collecting and reviewing employee information and working hours, calculating wages, and preparing and processing employee payments. Applicants must have strong attention to detail and analytical skills to maintain accurate payroll records. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of full-cycle payroll processing. Past construction experience would be a huge plus. In addition to Payroll duties being that this is a small and close team, there will be office and administrative tasks assigned when needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR:
Collecting timesheet data and payroll information
Entering data into payroll and administrative databases and software programs
Calculating wages, benefits, tax deductions, commissions, etc.
Preparing and processing paychecks and cash deposits
Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR:
2+ years of experience as Payroll Administrator - full cycle payroll
Excellent communication skills
Experience working in payroll with benefits, deductions, overtime adjustment, and benefits
Prior experience using ADP
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's degree is a plus and/or relevant experience
