Alcoeur Gardens, a residential care home for those suffering from memory impairment such as Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia are seeking compassionate caregivers for Full-Time/Part-Time/Per Diems CNA or CHHA's for our 11pm-7am shift in Toms River and Brick locations!
The Certified Home Health Aide/CNA is responsible for, but not limited to:
1. Basic care under direction of nursing staff
2. Perform duties, such as feed, bathe, dress, groom, make beds, laundry, transfer residents.
3. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
4. Cooking skills preferred but not necessary.
Position Requirements:
Must be a certified home health aide or cna in accordance with the laws of the state.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care
Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept.
Must have patience tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle the geriatric population with dementia.
