Our Jersey City-based Pest Control company is actively seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Field Technicians. We are looking for candidates with prior pest control experience who are eager to be part of a growing company committed to providing essential services to our valued customers. Pay starts at $21+/hour, if you have an operator license pay starts at $25+/hour.
Requirements:
- A clean driving record is a mandatory requirement.
- Candidates must possess a valid driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
- All new hires will undergo a drug test and a background check.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Effective communication skills for interactions with clients and tenants.
- Proficiency in maintaining trucks and equipment in optimal working condition.
- Capability to enter and exit structures and crawl spaces.
- Ability to safely use ladders and navigate stairs.
- Capacity to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Proficiency in using personal protective equipment.
- Skills for visually inspecting premises for pests, pest harborage, and potential entry points.
- Competence in handling application equipment, inspection tools, small hand tools, and small power tools.
- Adaptability to various environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp or dusty locations.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of treatments provided.
- Proficiency in pest removal procedures.
- Knowledge of mixing, applying, and handling pesticides in compliance with State and Federal laws.
- Capability to pick up and deliver necessary supplies.
