Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Gutter Installer to join our installer crew. The ideal candidate will have a experience in gutter installation, repair, and maintenance, or have hands-on experience with carpentry. They should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working as a part of a team and take direction from the crew lead. If you are native or fluent in Spanish, this may be a great plus. At least one year of work experience.
Responsibilities:
- Follow directions from the crew lead.
- Install, repair, and maintain gutters, downspouts, and gutter guards according to industry standards and company guidelines.
- Inspect and assess gutter systems to identify any issues or areas in need of repair or replacement.
- Measure, cut, and shape gutters to fit specific dimensions and ensure proper water flow.
- Safely operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and ladders, to complete installation projects.
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to coordinate workflow and ensure timely project completion.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers to address questions and concerns and provide recommendations as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked for billing and reporting purposes.
- Train apprentices and less experienced technicians who would be shadowing the crews on the jobs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Gutter Installer or Carpenter, with a minimum of 1 year in the industry.
- Familiarity with gutter systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and measuring devices.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure precise measurements and installations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
