We are looking for an experienced Dispatch Manager who oversees routing and scheduling logistics for timely delivery while managing a team of drivers and dispatchers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversees the capacity planning for all field operations activities, including the building and updating of schedules/calendars for all work order types
Developing and implementing department policies to ensure all staff members are trained in emergency response procedures
Monitoring communication channels during emergency situations to ensure staff members are communicating with each other effectively and efficiently
Identify areas for growth and develop training to ensure that unit staff are complying with applicable policies, procedures, guidelines, and protocols in order to provide effective and efficient emergency communication services
Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and operational at all times, including workstation computers, printers, telephones, and mobile communications devices
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Familiarity with routing drivers in New York/New Jersey/Philadelphia to ensure timely and safe delivery.
Russian or Ukrainian is strongly preferred.
A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
Strong knowledge of emergency processes and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
