Position: Network Engineer Duration: 6 Months+ Location: Raritan NJ or Rochester NY (10-20% Travel required to Rochester NY and Memphis TN and expenses will be paid) Responsibilities: Supports and maintains global wide area and local area network infrastructures along with technology related to running a global network. Advisor to the Network Architecture team to help design the appropriate networking platforms providing flexible and value-added network/voice services. Works with strategic network alliances, especially with technology partners, to enhance the business units competitive positioning. Ensure technical standards and process are followed to ensure reliable well performing data, voice, and video capabilities. Skills Required: Cisco CCNA or Network + certificate required. Strong experience in Network, LAN WAN required. Working knowledge of Cisco Networking hardware products particularly the 9000 series of LAN switches and wireless products Strong understanding of monitoring systems and protocols such as SNMP, SYSLOG, NETCONF, TFTP.
