job summary:

Large technology infrastructure solutions provider is looking for a Lab Manager in Secaucus NJ. The Lab Manager will be managing a team of technicians supporting the validation engineering team. This person will coordinate with the engineering teams and plan/manage the physical hosting of validation racks.



location: SECAUCUS, New Jersey

salary: $150,000 - 160,000 per year

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

• Work with management to manage lab's current needs, anticipate growth, and utilize feedback from engineers and program managers to plan for the future
• Coordinate with management to establish and manage budgets, purchase equipment, and roll out equipment and materials
• Ensure that the lab is able to efficiently support validation needs
• Work with engineers to establish and improve procedures and processes by addressing issues and risks specific to customers
• Facilitate effective communication across teams by reporting on lab status, capacity and productivity
• Maintain equipment and tools within the lab and ensure proper storage, including accurate calibration of sensitive equipment
• Maintain up-to-date inventory of racks, servers, equipment, and components, to include the disposition of unused or defective materials
• Perform quarterly audit and maintain ESD requirements per company guidelines
• Ensure all engineering training is up to date
• Ensure all industry/safety guidelines are always followed
• Coordinate with facilities to maintain lab security and safety

• Experience level: Manager
• Minimum 3 years of experience
