Specialty Counselor: In charge of a specific activity. Responsibilities include preparing and planning age appropriate activities for campers who will come to you with their Group Leader for classes. Example of Specialty classes are: Arts & Crafts, Cooking, Music, Sports, Swim Instructor etc.
Hours of Job: Will vary depending on position options include 7:30 am 2:45 pm; 8:00 am 3:15 pm; 9:00 am 4:15 pm; 9:30 am 4:45 pm; 9:45 am 5:00 pm; 10:30 am 5:45 pm 10:45 am 6:00 pm. If you are driving a van hours will be determined by the route you are assigned.
Dates: June 24, 2019 August 23, 2019
Salary: $5,200.00 for the season (9 weeks) for Group Leader/Specialty Counselor and Van Driver. You must obtain your CDL license class C from the division of Motor Vehicles, you will drive a van to and from camp in addition to your counselor responsibilities. We provide you with a van, insurance and gas throughout the summer. If you are unable to drive a van you can still work at camp, however, the likelihood of being hired is greatly enhanced by obtaining your license and driving a van. The salary for counselors who do not drive a van to and from camp is $3,700.00.
