Devereux will provide extremely high-quality, trauma-informed residential and educational services for refugee children, with intense supports for their social and emotional health. We will also ensure they receive excellent and immediate physical healthcare including pediatric, dental and nutritional supports for every child.Devereux’s ultimate goal is to ensure everyunaccompanied minorwho receives our services is successfully and quickly discharged into the loving care of their family sponsor and, during the short time they are with us, have received best-in-class medical, therapeutic, recreational and educational services designed specifically to address the traumas they have sustained during, and often before, their migration journey. The Bilingual Clinician will conduct mental health assessments and provide ongoing individual, and group counseling services, screen for trauma and human trafficking, and crisis intervention services. He/she will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, other clinicians and Youth Care Workers to maintain a therapeutic and emotionally healing environment and establish treatment goals and assist in the implementation of the individualized treatment plan. He/she will complete all required Short-term foster care program documentation in a timely manner and to designated quality standards. Have a master’s degree in a relevant field and at least one year clinical experience with children and adolescents in a residential or inpatient setting

Be licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ (LSW, LAC, LCSW or LPC)

Be bilingual in English/Spanish and minimum 21 years of age
