Kelly Cable of New Mexico, LLC, has served the telecom, fiber optics, power, gas and pipeline industries in New Mexico for nearly 30 years. We perform all aspects of aerial and underground construction as well as directional boring in all environments. Kelly Cable has customers located across all major New Mexico markets, with additional key locations including Santa Fe, Roswell, Las Cruces, Las Vegas and Farmington.
We have full time opportunities for experienced Aerial Lineman and a Aerial Lineman Trainee.
Responsibilities
Knowledge of established aerial cable installation procedures and techniques
Extensive knowledge of approved practices, procedures, tools, and materials used in telecom line construction work.
Identify differences in wire and cable colors.
Required to lift moderately heavy equipment, such as telephone line; climb structures and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to climb telephone poles and work in a bucket truck
1-3 years previous construction experience, preferably in telecommunications industry or cable TV.
Qualifications
A minimum of 1 year experience with aerial construction, gaffing and/or bucket work. We prefer that applicants have telecom or CATV experience. A CDL is a bonus and would result in a higher pay rate.
