SUCHNESS dining room is hiring one part-time dishwasher for Friday and Saturday evening shifts. You will work directly with the chef and general manager (who are also the owners). Competitive hourly wage.
Position Overview: As a Dishwasher in our casual fine-dining restaurant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. Your responsibilities will include washing dishes, utensils, and cookware, ensuring all items are sanitized and ready for use. You’ll work closely with the kitchen and service staff to support the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate dishwashing machinery and hand-wash items as needed.
- Sort and stack dishes, pots, pans, and utensils for washing.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
- Dispose of waste properly.
- Assist with basic food prep and kitchen cleaning tasks as required.
- Ensure that all dishes and kitchenware meet cleanliness standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
