Immunocompromised Artist Seeks Housekeeper / Personal Assistant for Non-Toxic Household
Looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented person with a passion for organization and a love of cleanliness for weekly assistance, running errands, inventory management, and housekeeping to join our team.
TASKS:
Deep, meticulous cleaning
Laundry
Household organization, upkeep, etc.
Small fix-it jobs
Running errands
Grocery shopping
Bathing a very sweet and easily managed dog
Optional miscellaneous assistance including things like:
Orders, inventory, email assistance, computer work and calls on my behalf
YOU MUST:
Be highly organized and detail oriented, ideally with an artistic flair
Anticipate needs and be able to keep the household running smoothly
Be reliable, dependable, and able to commit to the position for at least one year
Use the provided non-toxic, eco-friendly cleaning products
Be able to accommodate someone with noise, chemical, and electrical sensitivities
Not wear fragrance, scented personal products, or clothing with scented
laundry detergent while working
Leave your cell phone, smart devices, and other electronics on airplane mode or in your car while working
Be physically able to perform required tasks (i.e. climb ladder, carry laundry between home and office, lift/carry large glass water, etc.)
Be fluent in English, both spoken and written
Be a good communicator and decent writer
Be comfortable with consistent, growth-based feedback
Provide references, pass a background check, and sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement
Be flexible - While you will have a set weekly schedule, flexibility is a must to allow coverage for other team members in case of emergency, vacation, or individual creative pursuits (with the knowledge that the same flexibility for time off will be afforded to you!)
Hours: Approximately 10-20hrs per week. Typically 6-10 cleaning hours, and up to 10 assisting hours.
Schedule: Monday and Tuesday are ideal, but days are negotiable until a set weekly scheduled is agreed upon. As noted above, flexibility is both required and afforded to you in case of illness, emergencies, vacations, etc.
Location: A 15-20 minute drive from Downtown Santa Fe; close to Harry’s Roadhouse.
Compensation: $25.00/hr. for cleaning and $20/hr for assisting. Starting pay is non-negotiable, but opportunities for raises are available.
