Modern Day Music is looking for another voice coach and studio engineer/coach. Formal education in Music strongly preferred, but other experience is also considered. These positions are well suited for young musicians who can be available during weekday afternoon to evening hours, usually starting with one day and adding days as book grows.
Currently we have a voice coach who is transitioning out so there will be students to transfer over to the new hire. Must have fun attitude and personality and the ability to work well with kids and adults of all ages and genres. NYSSMA help also sometimes needed. Our current Voice teachers are close to full so we need to add to accommodate our students.
We also have a Pro Tools recording studio in house, looking for part time engineer to do occasional sessions and teach a few students in our studio workshop lesson program.
We have a super fun and engaging school with students of all ages, skill levels and genre interests. We do showcases 3 times per year for students to perform, we have optional band programs, a cappella groups and songwriting classes to keep kids and adults engaged.
