Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for Auditors in Albany, New York. The selected candidate will be expected to assess compliance measures in line with the International Practices Framework (Standards) established by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive reviews of internal audit functions to ensure conformance with Global Internal Audit Standards Evaluate the internal audit plan, strategy, methodologies, and processes Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations Assess performance criteria, measures, and results Review competencies and detail-oriented care, focusing on continuous development and effective use of tools and techniques Evaluate qualifications and competencies of the chief audit executive role as defined by the organization Integrate into the organization's governance processes, fostering relationships to maintain the independence of the internal audit function Contribute to the organization's governance, risk management, and control processes Aid in improving the organization's operations and its ability to attain objectives Meet expectations as articulated by the board, senior management, and stakeholders. Requirements Required Minimum QualificationsMust be a Certified Internal Auditor.Experience with and knowledge of the Standards and leading internal audit practices.Attestation by assessment auditor that they have no conflicts of interest, in fact or appearance.Completion of external quality assessment training recognized by The Institute of Internal Auditors.Preferred Minimum Qualifications-Experience as a chief audit executive or comparable senior level of internal audit management.-Experience in the organization's industry or sector.-Previous experience performing external quality assessments.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
