Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for Cloud Engineer in Albany, NY.
Description:
The Cloud Engineer will ensure that systems have a higher availability and capacity for user access to meet pandemic needs as well as build, increase and maintain our cloud footprint. The Cloud Engineer will perform duties in both the Amazon Webservices Cloud and the Google Cloud Platform and maintain a full comprehension of the cloud storage and database.
The Cloud Engineer will support and maintain the bridge between hybrid cloud infrastructures, including bridging the gap to support COVID-19 data in applications on premise as well as in the cloud. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for a full understanding of cloud security and networking concepts for application in daily duties.
The Cloud Engineer will perform duties in both the Amazon Webservices Cloud and the Google Cloud Platform and maintain a full comprehension of the cloud storage and database.
The Cloud Engineer will support and maintain the bridge between hybrid cloud infrastructures, including bridging the gap to support COVID-19 data in applications on premise as well as in the cloud.
The Cloud Engineer will plan and implement migration of systems and data to and from on premise in a hybrid cloud environment.
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for full documentation of architecture and activities.

Mandatory Qualification:
Applies engineering disciplines to cloud computing and brings a systematic approach to concerns of commercialization, standardization, and governance of cloud computing applications.
Leverages the methods and tools of engineering in conceiving, developing, operating and maintaining cloud computing systems and solutions.
Uses the economics of cloud resources to solve business problems.
Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
84 months of experience with managing servers and infrastructure in a Production Cloud environment (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, etc.)
84 months experience in Cloud data (i.e. Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, cloud data fusion, BigQuery)
84 months experience in Hybrid cloud infrastructure (security, data migration, autoscaling)
84 months of experience with infrastructure as code using Cloud Formation and Terraform.
48 months experience in Cloud Identity services using Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services.
