Electrician General Info Job Type: Full-Time Location: Albany, NY Compensation Range: $22- $30 per hour & $1,000 sign on bonus American Energy Care/ AEC Solar has been in the energy efficiency and renewable energy business for over 25 years! We are currently seeking several positions to join our Solar Team in Albany, New York; The Electrician provides leadership and technical expertise for all electrical portions of the installation and works with the install team to complete projects safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Include:
Interpreting and executing electrical/ structural plans and field layouts
Installing and maintaining electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures for PV systems
Ensuring all projects comply with electrical and building codes
Performing service work and electrical upgrades as necessary
Troubleshooting system problems and resolving electrical issues
Assisting in job closeout
Qualifications:
2+ years of electrical experience preferred
Comfortable working at high elevations (ladders and pitched roofs)
Communication is positive, team oriented, clear and motivating
Comfortable working outdoors year round
Attentive to detail
OSHA 10 preferred
