Description
Workers Compensation Board (WCB) has a series of funded modernization initiatives aimed at modernizing its critical technology applications and supporting platforms. The WCB requires assistance with System Modernization projects that involve the Azure cloud, .NET, and PowerBuilder development and architecture.
Duties

• Development of detailed unit test and system test plans to make sure that new or re-platformed applications adhere with an analysis and programming of our processes.
• Extensive analysis of existing processes and documentation of:
  • business rules
  • creation of functional specifications
  • system analysis and design
  • design of web forms and reusable/shared web components
  • creation of business logic components and methods
  • transaction logging
  • implementation of function and role-based access level security
  • project planning and documentation relative to the business rules remediating any bugs or problems found in testing
  • creation of a comprehensive help documents for users as a reference and training guide development of post-production support plans
  • development of user acceptance process

• Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system.
• Experience (9+ Years)

• This is an 100% Onsite.
• 84 months experience writing PowerBuilder Code including using Version10.5
• 36 months experience writing C# / .net code.
• 36 months experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases. This includes designing Tables, Triggers, Stored Procedures and writing SQL.
• 60 months experience with gathering requirements and creating technical design documents.
• 60 months experience with government projects that followed a Project Management methodology.
