JOB DESCRIPTION:
The War Room seeks experienced restaurant servers to join our team. Applicants must have at least two years of experience serving food, beer, wine, and spirits. Employees must be focused on guest service and ready to work.
The Restaurant Server position serves food and beverages to the guests following service standards. The server must be product-knowledgeable and confident to present our five-star sushi and main menu items, prices, and daily/weekly/monthly food and beverage specials, communicate special orders to the chefs, complete full side work during shift and end of shift, and have excellent attendance. Full-time and Part-time days are available. Must multitask during busy hours, be good with guests, and work well with team members.

Responsibilities:
2 years of server experience in serving food, beer, wine, and spirits
Product knowledge and confidence to assist guests in making menu choices, upsell menu items, promote daily specials, and provide exceptional guest relations and customer service, making their experience at the War Room a place they will never forget
Confirm guests are of legal drinking age and follow all state and federal laws for serving alcoholic beverages
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform when working.
Proficiency with Clover point-of-sale systems to process transactions accurately. Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently and accurately.
Greet guests and take orders in a timely and efficient manner

Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure orders are accurate and timely
Strong teamwork skills are essential to communicate with all co-workers for an exceptional guest experience.
Manage multiple tables and prioritize tasks effectively
Answer phones, make and manage reservations and seating
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Opening, running, and closing side work
Ability to lift and carry trays
Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including bussing tables and restocking supplies promptly
Check the station assigned before opening to ensure the cleanliness of tables and chairs and the proper set-up of cutlery and glassware.
