Clifton Park Periodontics is seeking a full-time dental assistant. Hours are Monday-Thursday 8-5. Brand new facilities and equipment. Competitive pay and benefits offered. We are a small private practice looking for the right person to join our growing team!
ESSENTIAL ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform infection control and occupational safety procedures including sterilization and disinfection procedures.
· Prepare patients for dental treatment
· Prepare procedural trays, break down and set up operatories
· Assist in surgical procedures including periodontal surgery, extractions, and dental implants
· Take preliminary medical histories and vital signs to be reviewed by the dentist
· Take dental radiographs including CBCT
REQUIREMENTS:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· 1 year dental assisting experience preferred
