We are an established family dental practice in Albany, NY looking for a part/full time dental hygienist to join our team. The hours of operation are Mon-Thurs 8am-4pm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients and assisting in the delivery of comprehensive dental services.
Duties:
-Conduct patient assessments, including medical histories, periodontal charting and oral cancer screenings to identify potential health risks and help develop personalized treatment plans.
-Perform dental hygiene procedures
-Assist dentists in patient care, including taking radiographs and providing patient education.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records
-Utilize dental software-Eaglesoft
-Participate in medical imaging procedures including digital x-rays and panoramic x-rays
-Stay current with industry developments and best practices in dental hygiene and general dentistry
-Will be working along side 2 full time dental hygienists and 2 general dentists.
Experience:
-Valid dental hygiene license in NY
