Immediate opening for a mature LPN in a small Primary Care Physician's Office.
Position is permanent, Part time to Full time.
Office hours are Monday- Friday 8:30 AM- 6:00 PM., but shift is flexible.
Some evenings may be necessary.
MUST have previous medical office experience and EMR knowledge. Medent EMR preferred.
Candidate must be a team player, able to multi-task, and assist other staff when needed.
Duties include clinical and clerical, but not limited to: Rooming patients, taking vitals and health history, performing EKG's, PFT's, Med Recs , drawing blood and other lab duties, prescription refills and prior authorizations. Answering multiple phone lines and triaging messages; check in/check out; verify patient demographics and insurance; Collecting copays and deductibles; scheduling appointments, hospital testing, and specialist referrals.
