River Valley Radio Inc., is looking for a full and/or part-time Equipment Installer to join our team.
Candidate: Must have knowledge of vehicle wiring and vehicle components.
Reading of assembly instructions with the ability to comprehend and follow them
is required. Basic knowledge of two-way radios, while not required, is a plus.
Candidate must have good attention to detail and neatness, ability to document
labor and parts on a per job basis, and basic computer skills. A clean and valid
driver license is required as a new fully stocked service vehicle is provided for
on-site work. Good customer relationship and communication skills are also
necessary.
Job: Disassemble and reassemble vehicle interiors, install warning lights, sirens,
two-way radios, and various other equipment to provide a quality finished
product. Troubleshoot and repair wiring/electrical equipment in vehicles.
Document time spent, work performed, and parts used per job. Additional tasks
as needed.
Work location: Westerlo as primary location, on customer sites as needed, as
well as the East Greenbush and Port Ewen shops.

Pay: Based on ability, knowledge and drive with starting pay of $18-$20 an hour.
