LABORERS- ASPHALT PAVING
PAVING COMPANY IS SEEKING RESPONSIBLE, AMBITIOUS, MOTIVATED, RESOURCEFUL, INDIVIDUALS TO JOIN OUR TEAM.
POSITION REQUIRES
Desire to grow with the company
OSHA 10 or 30 certification
Minimum 2 years experience working in the paving industry, including knowledge of pavement installation
Performance of general labor as requested
Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects using abdominal and lower back muscles
Experience & Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools.
Stamina to endure long periods of standing, walking, lifting and bending.
Ability to endure working in inclement weather such as excessive heat, humidity, rain, and cold.
Strong Excellent sense of balance, hand, eye and foot coordination
Ability to follow all safety procedures and willingness to use required PPE.
Ability to multi-task and set priorities effectively
Keep Vehicles/Equipment clean and ready to commence work at the beginning of the next work day
Attend scheduled safety meetings and inspections
Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program.
Work in a safe, responsible manner to prevent injury to oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others
Overtime may be required. Weekends and Occasional Out of town travel when required.
Compliance company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements.

High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred, but not required
Hourly wage to be based upon skill set and experience. Prevailing wage common.
After 14 day probationary period Wage will be re-evaluated based upon experience and performance
