Full time employment opportunity for a large scale maple syrup operation located in Fonda, NY. Job entails all aspects of maple syrup production and processing. Experience in the production of maple syrup, mechanical ability, and the ability to operate farm equipment related to the maple business are all desirable but not absolutely necessary.
Ag background and willingness to work outdoors is a big plus. Many of our sugar bushes are located in Otsego County if someone from that area is interested.
To the right candidate there is a three bedroom farmhouse in a nice private country setting, with a large yard and barn available. Heat and water included, and also new washer/dryer, refrigerator and electric range. This is in the Fonda-Fultonville school district.
Pay rate is negotiable based on experience. Company vehicle provided. There could be a production incentive to the right experienced candidate.
