This is a part time summer job for a teen or adult who is looking to work 10-12 hours weekly.
I have a lot of odd jobs that we could theoretically do ourselves, but we just don't have the time. This is not skilled labor. Some of it is physically demanding (shoveling, spreading mulch, scraping paint).
Some of it is just time consuming. Pay is in cash, will be given daily at end of work day. Lots of flexibility in hours -work weekend or weekdays, a full hours at a time or full days. Need to be somewhat independent, mature, intelligent - able to follow basic instructions. We are right in the village of Ballston Spa, around the corner from Malta Ave school.
Scope of work -
1) Be an assistant for doing blown in insulation (8 hours estimate).
2) We have an old cellar w/ dirt floor with a lot of debris on the floor. We want someone to shift the dirt and gravel around and put down a piece of plastic on the floor to cut down on humidity in the basement - estimate 8 hours.
3) Assist w/ staining deck (6-8 hours).
4) Assist w/ scraping and painting our garage - 3 days (would only be on step ladder).
5) Spread mulch (4-6 hours).
6) Interior painting - if you can be trained to do this well (or already have the skill) we will have you paint an upstairs bedroom and closet (1-2 days).
7) Bag up lawn debris - 1-2 hours
8) Mow lawn (1-2 hours weekly).
9) Reinforce fence by adding screws (2 hours)
I am willing to consider males/females - going into 9th grade and older.
Needs to be responsible, detail oriented, follows instructions, No skill needed, but a quick learner.
