Territory Field Sales Representative - Collision Repair

Industry leading collision repair equipment distributor seeks territory sales representative with technical automotive collision repair experience and direct sales experience a plus.

We are looking for an experienced field sales representative with technical expertise to join our team. Reporting to the Regional sales manager, you will demonstrate your sales acumen by driving sales activities for collision repair capital equipment in the northern New York State market. Must reside within the territory. Ideal location would be within 25 miles of Albany NY.


Increase sales and market share of complete line of collision repair equipment by servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts within territory.

Meet and exceed sales quota and other KPI’s by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call upon existing and potential customers and tailor solutions to their needs.

Visit customer at their locations to conduct needs analysis, provide information and benefits analysis of our products compared to the market, and perform technical demonstration of our products functions

Provide support and initial training to new and existing customers in the territory market

Report and track trends/conditions, competitor activity, and sales opportunities into CRM

Travel within territory to visit and support customers approximately 75% of the time


Demonstrated hands on technical knowledge in the collision repair industry or closely related industry such as HVAC installation/repair, welding or mechanical sales.

Demonstrated selling, account management, and account development skills.

Proven analytical ability and time management skills.

Ability to set up and demonstrate product functions and discuss benefits, pricing, and financing.

Ability to create and execute sales plans, overcome obstacles, and gain the trust of customers.

Preferred Experience

Knowledge of collision repair industry or automotive repair industry in general.

Demonstrated ability to set your own schedule and execute sales plans.

Experience using CRM and managing a sales pipeline.

Ability to travel extensively within upstate NY territory and lift/maneuver machinery up to 50 lbs.

Salary USD 100000 - 150000 Per Year based on commission and meeting quota
