Territory Manager Southeastern Upstate NY and NE Region.
We are a strong dynamic Northeast US based HVAC/R, Plumbing Electrical manufacturer’s
representative seeking a Territory Manager, (TM), to cover various regions depending on your
location, skill set and experience. This opportunity is in the Albany, Glens Falls, Queensbury, Schenectady and Upstate Region (Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo) NH, RI, CT, and MA in NE.
Our corporate culture is partnership driven such that our TM’s generate breakthrough sales and
revenue for the quality manufacturers we represent. TM’s are accountable for managing and
increasing sales into the wholesaler pipeline by growing the business we currently have and
developing new business in their accountable region/market focus.
HVAC/R, Plumbing or Electrical Supply House sales experience is preferred, but not necessary
for the right individual. Our corporate culture is relationship, technology and data driven. We will
provide training and support, encourage marketing industry event participation and sales
coaching. You provide the time, talent, and superior work ethic and together we will be
successful.
Your job duties include:
Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers including market
channel contractors, wholesalers, engineers, architects and building owners.
Conduction product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers highlighting the
features and benefits of the manufacturer’s products. (Minimum 3 days on the road a week with
at least 5 planned meetings a day).
Identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities including construction projects, equipment
replacements, large size contractor business and retrofit projects on the contractor side.
Inventory management, stocking and store display opportunities on the wholesaler side.
Providing technical support and assistance to customers regarding product selection,
installation, and operation.
Maintaining accurate records of sales activity including customer contact information, sales
leads, and sales orders in company CRM.
Collaborating with other members of the sales team, as well as engineering, customer service
and product development teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product success.
Compensation starts at $50,000 plus car allowance phone expenses. 1099 opportunities also
available.

interpersonal and negotiation skills are also essential to building relationships and closing sales.
You must also be self-generative with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
