The position offers an experienced refrigeration technician the opportunity to utilize his/her experience and intelligence to lead in the fabrication and assembly of custom designed heavy-duty air conditioners.
Aero Conditioner Company, LLC is a growing manufacturer of harsh-duty industrial and military air-conditioners and related equipment located in Selkirk, NY and is expanding its manufacturing team. We are seeking a refrigeration tech with broad experience in commercial and industrial Refrigeration/Air-Conditioning service to help fabricate and calibrate custom-designed equipment. This position requires proven ability to troubleshoot air-conditioning and refrigeration systems and their components to assemble, fabricate, calibrate, and test the equipment in our plant. The tech will be able to contribute improvements in designs and procedures based his/her experiences in the field.
Come inside and work in a plant! No crawling in hot attics or climbing snow-covered ladders! There will be no installations or other field work.

Duties:
Build the types of products shown on our two websites: www.AeroConditioner.com and www.AirCleaningBlowers.com based on shop drawings and best HVAC practices.
Braze, bend tubing, assemble, wire, test, and calibrate products, troubleshoot refrigeration and electrical problems.
Work with others on the plant floor to assure safety and high quality.
Contribute regularly to the designs of the current and future products to improve their functionality and manufacturability.
Support customers by phone and email as they install and use our products.
Personal Qualifications:
Smart, friendly and anxious to leave field work and progress into assembly of complete systems
Experience in the field servicing and troubleshooting industrial and commercial refrigeration and/or air-conditioning equipment.
Competent in brazing, tube bending, testing and calibrating, installing, electrical wiring, and the other functions of a refrigeration technician.
Good ability to read and follow shop drawings.
Able to communicate clearly with shop staff and managers.
Must work well with others and under limited supervision.
EPA Universal license.
