Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Auto Body Collision Technician to perform high-quality repairs and refinishing on a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of auto body repair techniques and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess vehicle damage and determine repair needs.
Perform collision repairs, including frame straightening, panel replacement, and structural repairs.
Repair or replace damaged vehicle parts.
Use various hand tools, power tools, and equipment to complete repairs.
Apply primer and other finishing materials to vehicles.
Conduct final inspections to ensure repairs meet company standards and customer expectations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Communicate effectively with service managers regarding repair status and recommendations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification or associate degree in auto body repair preferred.
3-5 years experience as an auto body technician.
Proficiency in using body repair tools and equipment.
Knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and safety procedures.
Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical diagrams.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
I-Car and other training a plus
