West End Iron Works, Inc. is looking to hire an individual to fill a full-time grinder / finishing position. We are a miscellaneous steel fabricator that focuses on stairs, railings and small structural projects. Work is done in a shop setting with a small amount of field work.
Qualified Applicants should have:
- Experience working in a shop / manufacturing environment.
- Experience and confidence in operating power and pneumatic hand tools.
- Daily responsibilities include grinding / smoothing welds and removing weld spatter.
- Assist with moving and storage of stock materials.
- Ability to work with a team in a shop setting.
- Desire to learn new skills and help in a variety of roles.
- Forklift experience is helpful, but not required.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Welding experience not required, but is beneficial.
- Full time position, M-F 7am - 3:30pm.
