Hiring an experienced head gardener/manager to supervise a small horticulture team and work closely with the owner to help manage the overall client list. This management position will involve performing seasonal garden maintenance & installations, sourcing and purchasing supplies, organizing and educating team, research and daily communication with owner.
Position starts ASAP to mid-December 2025 with potential for more. Hourly wage largely depends on proven experience, and will begin at $30-35 with an end of year bonus and potential for paid continuing education/certification. Position is 3-4 days a week.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
▪ 3+ years experience in horticulture
▪ Excellent knowledge of native and ornamental plant ID and culture
▪ Excellent understanding of seasonal maintenance techniques
▪ Excellent time management
▪ A fine gardener’s attention to detail
▪ A friendly and respectful demeanor with coworkers and clients
▪ Ability to take direction and lead a small team
▪ Strength to lift up to 50 lbs
▪ Willingness to work in all kinds of weather pivoting as needed
▪ Ability to drive a cargo or mini van on installation days or nursery runs
▪ Computer skills, a working smart phone and reliable transportation are a must!
