We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals for several Mitigation Technician positions. Our team specializes in fire, water, smoke, odor, and mold mitigation, providing essential services to communities during times of need.
Key Responsibilities:
Emergency Response: Actively participate in emergency response teams to mitigate damage from water, fire, smoke, mold, and other disasters. This includes being part of an on-call rotation to ensure we can respond quickly, 24/7.
Damage Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of affected properties to identify the extent of the damage and outline the necessary mitigation steps.
Restoration Services: Perform a variety of restoration services including water extraction, smoke and soot removal, dehumidification, and mold remediation. This requires operating specialized equipment and following all safety protocols.
Client Communication: Serve as a compassionate and informative point of contact for clients, providing updates and explanations of the restoration process. Your ability to communicate effectively and empathetically is key to supporting our clients through challenging times.
Documentation and Reporting: Utilize technical and computer skills to document work processes, progress, and outcomes. Accurate record-keeping is essential for project management and client satisfaction.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of technicians and other professionals, sharing knowledge and assisting on projects as needed. Teamwork and a collaborative spirit are essential to our operation's success.

Position Requirements:
- Availability for Travel: Ability to travel within 2 hours of the Capital District.
- Flexible Schedule: Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate on-call rotations.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong technical and computer skills are essential for success in this role.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to client interactions.

- Licensing: Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing and have authorization to work in the U.S.
