We are seeking a skilled Snow Plow & Salting Operator with snow removal experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a 3/4 Ton Truck with plow and salter in parking lots and driveways ensuring that snow removal operations are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of snow removal equipment operation, snow & ice management, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols.
Duties & Requirements
On-Call 24/7 availability during winter season.
Operate 3/4 or 1 Ton Truck with Fisher Plow and Salter on 3-5 commercial sites and 10-12 residential driveways.
Follow snow management plan for proper clearing and placement of snow.
Occasional hand work (shoveling/snow blowing) of sidewalks/walkways may be required.
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Coordinate with facility staff and other team members to ensure site safety.
Qualifications
Proven experience in operating a truck with plow and salter on commercial and residential sites.
Strong understanding of winter snow & ice site operations and safety protocols.
Ability to perform physical tasks associated with equipment operation including lifting, salting and occasional shoveling.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of work quality.
